Guam attractions, A water slide (also called as water chutes or flumes) is a type of slide designed for an indoor recreational use at water parks. Water slides vary in their riding method and in size. There are slides that require riders to sit directly on the slide and some on a raft or tube designed to be used with the slide. I don’t really know a lot about water slides until I have been to a water park for a short vacation in Guam few years ago. Before, all I know was a typical water slide that pumps water to the top of the slide to reduce friction, making sliders to travel down the slide very quickly. In addition to that, I just noticed few types of slides then where all you need to do is sit directly on the surface of the slide and that’s it. There could be many different shapes and sizes (straight or inclined) to some pools but in a water park, you will find much more than that. Family rafting, Funnel, Half-Pipe, Water coaster, Bowl, Multi-lane Racer, Speed Slides, and Aqua Loop are just few of the new slides I have seen and tried when I visited a water park.
